as you wish. There’s also a new mini-golf course if you don’t fancy going down
Kamikaze for the eighth time.

senior citizens €18.50, and children three to four €10.
Marbella Segway Tours – Marbella
The Marbella Segway
Tours can be described in four words; Simple, Addictive, Intuitive and Fun!
They are a great alternative to your more standard sightseeing tours and a fun
way to see the Golden Mile between Marbella and Puerto Banus. The cost of
the tour including training is from 25€
per person.
You will see Luxury Villas owned by the rich and famous, 5 star hotels,
Impressive super yachts and luxury cars, stunning scenery and what’s more you
can enjoy the wonderful sunshine at the same time!
We think it’s a superb group or family activity, but you can also choose to go solo or join another party and here are some FAQs that will help you to decide if it’s right for you! It’s a super idea for a Stag/Hen Party or for a corporate event.
What is the Segway Personal Transporter?

Reservations are required for all Marbella Segway Tours and can be made online here or by phone via the following number +34 686 221 256. The pic k up location is either in Marbella or Puerto Banus depending on what works for you.
How long does the Tour last?
Both the Day and Night tours typically last between 1 to 2 hours (including training).
How far in advance do I need to reserve?
You can always check if there are places available on the same day of your glide. However, it is quite possible that there will be no places. We suggest you reserve as much in advance as you can to secure your desired date and tour.
Are Segway ® safe for children or people with disabilities?
Segways are perfectly safe for all ages!! Each of our glides begins with 2 minutes, yes, 2 minute, training session in the plaza next to our office. We will practice on the Segway so that everyone feels comfortable and ready to go out and tour.
Climbing La Concha – Marbella
La Concha, the large
mountain that overlooks Marbella and the surrounding area, has been climbed by many
over the years so we’ve put together some information to let you know how you
can do it too.
Firstly, you need to make your way to what we
call base camp, the Refugio de Juanar Hotel just 10 minutes from Marbella up
the road to Ojen. There are great picnic spot areas all around here too and
it’s easy to park so it makes the perfect starting and finishing landmark.
From this point, you can select one of several
different routes all varying in difficulty and time to walk.
If you are with younger children, the walk to
the summit is really a little too challenging, and at times dangerous, but
there is a perfect route with gentle inclines that takes you through the olive
groves and forest along to the viewpoint (Fin de Sendero). A gentle amble gets
you there in an hour and a half.
The walk to the summit of La Concha will take
you around four hours, less if you are fitter with the right footwear!
It’s difficult to give all the information you
need for each individual party here, so if you are planning on taking a walk up
La Concha, just drop us an email with any questions and we will give you our
very best local advice on how to go about it!
Food Room – Guadalmina, Marbella
Food Room is a Cooking School suited to adults and kids that are looking to develop their knowledge and understanding of gastronomy. Whilst Spanish Gastronomy leads the show they also offer courses, classes and workshops in flavours from around the world.
Food Room offers
both private cooking classes and courses which are designed for food lovers.
Their training sessions can be delivered in either Spanish or English and are a
fun and enjoyable experience as well as being educational. Corporate
groups, friends, families and individuals can all take part in the fun!
Food Room is located in the Guadalmina Alta
Commercial Centre, just a few kilometres from Puerto Banus, and offers modern
facilities with the most up to date equipment. The facilities can also be
rented, half a day or full day, to hold any type of food event.
Aventura Amazonia – Marbella
Aventura Amazonia is a new concept in entertainment and adventure in Marbella offering a great amount of fun in the safest environment. Ideal for large groups to have fun either as a corporate event or perhaps as a stag and hen party activity or for a family to have a great day out altogether. To make a booking just email from this page.
The made to measure, open air park has five courses specially adapted for both adults and children of any ability. There are 5 other parks all over Spain and Marbella is the very latest one. With fully trained hands and high-quality equipment you are in safe hands. Children from 6 years old can join in the fun and we saw groups of varied ages taking on the course at their own speed – it really is suitable for the whole family.
The opening hours are generally from 10am-7pm slightly later perhaps in the summer.
You could easily spend the whole day at Aventura Amazonia or alternatively you could come just for a few hours in the morning or afternoon depending on how energetic you feel! There are some great park tables and benches to relax and get your breath in between the different elements of the course or perhaps to have a bite to eat and a drink.
If you were taking on Aventura Amazonia as part of a stag and hen weekend, I would certainly recommend doing it with a hangover as parts of the course really are not for the faint hearted! It’s probably the ideal way to start your weekend with some great team spirit and plenty of adrenaline.
Highly recommended for all the family and a real challenge for even the most physically fit!
Bioparc Fuengirola Zoo – Marbella
Bioparc Fuengirola has been around for a while. Originally built as a Zoo in the 1970’s, it was not a pleasant place for the animals. In 1998, Rain Forest took over the zoo and set out to completely redesign and expand the zoo aiming to create the latest “full-immersion zoo” concept recreating the tropical forests of Madagascar, Equatorial Africa and Southeast Asia. The new Fuengirola Zoo was opened in 2001 and set new standards for other zoos in Europe to follow. It is now called the Bioparc Fuengirola and the living standards for animals are very high.
The Bioparc is now flourishing, with over 140 species represented, and a total of over 1,300 individual animals, seemingly happy in their newly created environments. The variety of animals is huge including birds, mammals including the gorilla, hippopotamus, leopard and tiger, reptiles including the crocodile and python and fish species.
The Biopark aims not only to fascinate but also to teach and provides educational tours for adults and children. There is of course a restaurant on site and a huge playground next door to keep the young ones entertained. Also in the months of July and August, the Bioparc stays open till midnight allowing people to explore the park and its residents at night time, the perfect way to end an evening.
